The shape of the Musang King is oval to ellipsoid and the husk have a dusty light green colour. The flesh is thick, golden-yellow that is sweet with a hint of bitterness. It has a soft, smooth custard-like texture and is really creamy. Also known as Mau Shan Wang, the Musang King durian is the most popular variety at present.
The stem of the D24 is shorter compared to other durians and it has a brown-coloured ring around the bottom of the stem. D24 durians are a little less overwhelming in flavour and are known for their creamy texture and subtle bittersweet after-taste.
